Chris Troutner holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University. His specialty is on control systems, robotics, digital signal processing, and neural networks. He has taken graduate courses on non-linear dynamics and neural network control systems. In the last few years, he has focused on alternative energy and transportation systems.
He currently works at the PACCAR Technical Center in Mt. Vernon, Washington and moonlights as a technical consultant and designer for hire. He spends his spare time supporting open source hardware projects and heading up the Free Charge Controller Project.
